We all struggle to self-regulate at times, procrastinate when we feel anxious and overwhelmed, have trouble understanding what a professor really wants, and sometimes have trouble feeling motivated.
With over a decade of experience as a learning strategist, university instructor and accessible learning program coordinator, I understand the student experience and I know the barriers that students face.
I specialize in strengths-based metacognitive learning strategy. While the focus of my practice is one-on-one learning strategy with neurodivergent secondary and post-secondary students (e.g. ADHD, ASD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety and Depression), everyone can benefit from help understanding more about how they learn and beneficial habit formation whether in the form of a single Learning Tune-Up appointment or regular weekly Learning Strategy sessions.
